fla is working with the casa laxmi foundation

The word is out, and Florida Architects is excited and proud to be working with the Casa Laxmi Foundation on a $117 million international boarding school project for 300 students from kindergarten through grade 12 in Bay County. Joe Sorci, Antonio Adessi, Markus Gemsch and Valli Sorci, all members of the Bay Economic Development Alliance, attended the recent meeting where it was announced that the Casa Laxmi Foundation has plans to open the school in 2020 and is estimated to bring 300 new high paying jobs to Bay County.

The boarding school will have a philanthropic emphasis where half of the students will be fee-paying, while the other half will be students on scholarship through the Casa Laxmi Foundation. The school will provide world-class educational programs and instill servant-leadership principles throughout the curriculum.

The foundation has purchased 230 acres in northern Bay County on the Fanning Bayou which includes approximately one mile of shoreline. The boarding school will be one of the few marine centric schools in the world. This project expands the international community in Bay County and will provide the opportunity to showcase Bay County around the globe.
